What’s in the checklist
30 days before move day. Lock in the removalist (us hopefully). Sort the school transitions. Cancel the gym, the magazines, the milk delivery. Book mail redirection.
7 days before. Confirm the truck size with the removalist. Pack the non-essentials. Defrost the freezer. Set aside the move-day box (kettle, mugs, phone chargers, kids’ iPad, snacks).
24 hours before. Pack the move-day box. Charge everything. Tell the kids the plan one more time. Get the dog to grandma’s. Sleep, if you can.
