What a pack day looks like
We arrive the day before move day with the boxes and materials. Pack the kitchen, wardrobes, lounge, bedrooms, bathrooms — everything. Label every box by room. By the end of pack day, the home is ready to load straight into the truck the next morning.
What an unpack day looks like
Unpack day starts as soon as the last box is in. We unpack, place items in the right cupboards and wardrobes, make the beds, plug in the TV and kettle. By 4pm you’ve got a home — not a house full of cardboard.
Who needs pack-and-unpack most
- Downsizers (Margaret persona) — physically can’t lift boxes, emotionally can’t sort 32 years of stuff alone.
- Premium movers (Whitfield persona) — paying for white-glove. Need it done right, including art and wine.
- Renovation pack-and-store (Tania persona) — itemised inventory, photo of every box, climate-controlled storage between phases.
- Stressed-out families (Sarah & Tom persona) — both work full-time, two kids, no bandwidth.
