  • How much does a Central Coast removalist cost?

    Local Coast moves usually run $1,200 to $3,500 for a 3-bed home, depending on volume, distance, packing and stairs. We give you a fixed price after a 5-minute phone call or an in-home estimate. No 'starting from'.

  • Is Acorn AFRA-accredited?

    Yes. Acorn is a member of the Australian Furniture Removers Association (AFRA), the national accreditation body for professional removalists. Our team is fully trained and our trucks are AFRA-compliant.

  • Do you do Sydney to Central Coast moves?

    Yes. Sydney to Coast (and Coast to Sydney) is one of our most-booked routes. Door-to-door fixed pricing including loading, transit and unloading. Storage available in our Lake Munmorah depot if your settlement and lease dates don't line up.

  • Do you have insurance?

    Yes. Public liability and goods-in-transit insurance is standard on every Acorn move. Premium and high-value items (art, antiques, pianos, wine collections) can be covered to higher limits. Just ask.

  • Do you move into retirement villages?

    Yes. We move into Bayside, Bupa Killarney Vale, Anglicare Coast, Estia Bateau Bay and other Coast retirement villages regularly. We coordinate the lift booking, parking and move-in window with the village manager so move day stays calm for the resident.

  • Will the same crew do my whole move?

    Yes. We're family-owned and the same crew turns up every time. The team that quotes the move is the team that does the move.

  • Do you do weekend moves?

    Yes. Saturday moves are standard and Sunday is available on request. Weekends are our busiest days, so book early.
