The first-week problem

The boxes get unpacked eventually. But the internet and the TV are different — until they work, the new house doesn’t feel lived-in, and sorting them usually means a help line, a YouTube tutorial and a Saturday you didn’t plan to spend on it.

That’s why we’ve partnered with Universal Home Theatre to offer professional TV, internet and wifi setup with your move or as a separate service — we coordinate it, you get a clear quote before the work begins, and one point of contact from start to finish.

What we set up

  • Wifi and internet — router placed and connected, network named the way you want, password handed over on paper, not muttered.
  • Your devices — phones, laptops, smart TVs, streaming boxes and printers back online.
  • The handover — everything demonstrated working, in plain English.

  • Do I need my internet provider sorted before you come?

    Your provider needs to have the connection active at the new address — we'll tell you exactly what to ask them for. Once the line is live, we handle the rest: router placement, network setup and reconnecting your devices.

  • Can you set up a brand-new TV?

    Yes — unboxed, on the wall or on its stand, tuned, connected to the wifi and signed in to your streaming apps. You hand us the box; we hand you the remote.

  • Will my wifi reach the whole house?

    We place the router where it serves the house best rather than just where the socket is. If the home is large enough to genuinely need more coverage, we'll tell you honestly what to buy rather than sell you something.

  • Can you reconnect everything after a move?

    Yes — that's the bundled version. TVs, router, streaming boxes, computers and printers come with the move and get reconnected at the new place in the same visit.
